La galleria Renata Fabbri arte contemporanea nasce con l’obiettivo di mostrare a un pubblico sempre più interessato e attento le molteplici espressioni dell’arte contemporanea. Nell’ambito della sua ricerca, la galleria vuole valorizzare il significato del rapporto tra arte contemporanea – intesa come ricerca e sperimentazione a oltranza – e il linguaggio di quella che può dirsi ormai “tradizione”, sia pure come una “tradizione del nuovo”. In altre parole: porre in relazione in modo stimolante e vitale la storia del XX secolo, come insieme di idee e di atti creativi sedimentati nel tempo, e il presente dell’arte e i suoi vari modi di essere “attuale”. Una ricerca della “modernità” e della sua essenza attraverso il lavoro di diverse generazioni di artisti, tutti a loro modo intenti a cercare di comprendere ed esprimere la complessità di ciò che potrebbe forse ancora chiamarsi “bellezza”, magari attraverso stili inediti, inattesi e sorprendenti.
Since its opening, Renata Fabbri arte contemporanea has been committed to showing to an increasingly involved and mindful audience the multiple expressions of the contemporary art world. In pursuing its research programme, the gallery seeks to enhance the meaning of the relationship between contemporary art – seen as constant research and experimentation – and the language of the so-called “tradition”, even when it is meant as “tradition of the new”. In other words, the gallery’s purpose is to relate, in a stimulating and dynamic way, the history of the 20th century – as a sequence of ideas and creative acts which have subsided over time – to the art scene of today with its many-sided ways to be “current”. Renata Fabbri arte contemporanea devotes itself to the exploration of the essence of “modernity” through the work of different generations of artists who, with fresh and unexpected styles, are focused on grasping and expressing the complexity of what may still be called “beauty”.
