As a result of its history and aptitude, Studio Spada Partners is a reference point in tax advisory services for businesses and families. It provides administrative, tax, and corporate consulting, assistance in corporate restructuring and transactions in Private Equity funds, and works with Financial Advisors in acquisitions, sales, mergers, and corporate finance.
In the sphere of its continuous Corporate Social Responsibility activities, Spada Partners supports projects that merge art and solidarity.
As an expression of these activities, the Studio, in the person of Partner, Managing Director, and collector Roberto Spada, has confirmed its commitment to contemporary art by launching the Spada Partners Award, which will support an artist – regardless of nationality, age, or discipline – by means of the acquisition of a work that provides the best interpretation of the times we live in: “a work of art must speak to the observer even before the artist is known,” says Roberto Spada. The winning work will be displayed permanently in the studio’s Milan offices, whose unique collection of contemporary art merges with all of its spaces and is enjoyed by employees as well as by clients.
Winning artist: FLAVIO FAVELLI
Title of work: Silver Lomè, 2023, collage of paper and chocolates with original frame, 33x27 cm
Winning gallery: Studio Sales (Hall 25 Stand B/17)
Motivation: The work is part of the artist’s most recent series, in which a glass and silver photo frame contain tone-on-tone papers and chocolates that recall starry vaults and ancient masters. In this case, Favelli is interested in the uniqueness of the object; the jury was convinced by the modernity of the work, which expresses so many events of the past. Modernity sets its roots solidly in a past which, like an oracle, leads us toward a “mirrored” future. We like to think that it is also a homage to the city hosting the Sales Gallery of Rome, full of chromatic conceptual similarities.
