Gallery Directors

Cortesi Gallery was founded in 2013 by Cortesi family, Stefano together with his sons Andrea and Lorenzo and specialises in European artistic movements from the 60s to the present day. In 2015, Cortesi Gallery expanded, opening a second location in London’s Mayfair while in 2017 it launched its third space, located in the historical Brera neighbourhood in Milan. Cortesi Gallery’s activity is characterised by a conscious effort to produce relevant displays with the collaboration of specialists in the field, such as external curators, researchers, artists’ archives and foundations. The exhibition program reflects the gallery’s expertise, with major presentations featuring the ZERO Group, New Tendencies, Optical, Kinetic, Conceptual and Minimal Art.Cortesi Gallery continues to undertake and develop research activities with an exhibition agenda dedicated to Italian and international artists from the 20th Century and with a look to the contemporary art world.
