Gallery Directors

Prometeogallery di Ida Pisani was founded in Milan in 2005. Located in Lambrate, the gallery aims at promoting the work of international artists, with a particular focus on Eastern Europe, Greece, Italy and South America. The second gallery space is in Lucca in the former church of San Matteo, where exhibitions of artists like Santiago Sierra and Regina José Galindo were presented for the first time in Italy. The constant attention towards an art deeply connected to the place of its origin, that is always questioning itself and that doesn’t operate without a relationship with the complex contemporary society, allowed the gallery to build during these years a well defined identity that places it in the international artistic debate with a growing consciousness about the choices made.
