MARCOROSSI artecontemporanea is a network of four art galleries founded in 1994 and based in northern Italy: Milan, Pietrasanta, Turin, and Verona. All venues are run by a professional staff supervised by the founder Marco Rossi. Since the beginning, the galleries' program has focused on painting and sculpture, including work of Italian and international artists, both historical figures and emerging artists. More recently, the galleries have addressed the interest in contemporary photography, starting new collaborations with young photographers. Alongside historical figures of Italian art with a consolidated market, such as Giosetta Fioroni, Marco Gastini, Paolo Icaro, Arcangelo and Franco Guerzoni, the gallery is building collaborations with artists of the latest generations, including Valerio Berruti, Paolo Ventura, Rune Guneriussen, David Lindberg, and the collective The Bounty Killart: artists who attracted the interest of both Italian and foreign art critics and curators, collecting in a few years important museum exhibitions. The gallery provides art consulting services, and also aims to become a reference point for new and young art collectors
