In 2012 Alessandro Cacciola founded Res Publica – Galleria d'Arte Democratica, situated just in front the Royal Palace of Venaria Reale. Many events have occured in this place; during the last few years four exhibitions curated by Luca Beatrice took place: the solo shows dedicated to Emilio Isgrò (2014), Bruno Munari (2016) and Roberto Malquori (2017), but also the group exhibition “Pittura Analitica. Ricerca Anni Settanta” (2015). In July 2017, the Art Gallery moved to Turin, exactly in the inner courtyard of Via dei Mille 38, where it opened its new headquarter with the group exhibition “Parole dipinte, immagini scritte. Ricerche verbo-visive dagli Anni Sessanta ad oggi” curated by Filippo Mollea Ceirano and Stefano Perrini. Afterwards Giorgio Bonomi curated “Segno, forma e colore nella Pittura «Analitica» di Rosanna Rossi”. Res Publica intends to value some national artists, unanimously recognized by critics and art historians, but still outside the art market.
