Gallery Directors

Galleria Marcolini emerged in 2014 from an idea of Federica and Roberto Farneti. Born in Forlì, it takes the name of the street in which it is located, via Francesco Marcolini, and stands just a few steps from the San Domenico Museum. The gallery also owes its existence to the interest and urging of friends, muses and mentors who will continue to enlighten the road ahead. It will be thanks to them that the gallery will see and think, in a path that integrates, through shared projects, the vision of the founders with the action of institutions such as the local Museums. Painting and photography are the mostly represented practices; our work, though, is inspired by an integrated vision of artistic production, not confined within rigid protocols, that feeds on borrowings from, and contamination with, other discourses.
