Progetto Orientale Sicula is an experimental space mainly dedicated to the language of painting and photography. A journey that will tell different generations from the 80s up to the experimentation that distinguishes our days. Different schools of thought of Anglo-Saxon, German and Eastern European matrix will be compared with Italian painting and photography, which distinguish different souls among which the Sicilian one. Without doubt one of the least known, but still one of the most interesting, for us, starting point for a study necessary to unveil the aesthetic canon of our time. On this occasion we present Giovanni Iudice, a middle career painter from Gela, owner of a painting of "sentiment" that looks at Lojacono, Cézanne and Pirandello and reworks a figurative language through which the representation of existence is translated into complexity and carnality of the form.
