Gallery Directors

Defined as a "relational gallery", the MLB is a space inspired by international models, an empathic diffusion of the knowledge of contemporary art and a strong curatorial vocation. Each artist is invited to design a site-specific project, thematically inspired by the entire exhibition at the nearby Palazzo dei Diamanti, in a dialogue between modern and contemporary art. MLB promotes its artists with tenacity and passion, organizing for their exhibitions in different museums and promoting them thanks to a careful loyalty of the world of collecting and printing. Since its inception in 2007, it has collaborated with curators and galleries such as Continua di San Gimignano and Studio La Città di Verona. It was appreciated in international fairs (Basel, Brussels, Miami). MLB pursues two precise curatorial lines: artists who use photography contaminating it with other languages and artists that combine conceptuality and manual skills.
