Gallery Directors

The Art gallery Ellebi, located in the centre of Cosenza, hosts contemporary artists of national and international reputation, and has a special interest in new generation artists and proposals. We have a long-standing tradition in the field of art (the gallery was founded in 1968 as La Bussola Art Gallery thanks to the intuition of Maria Carbone and Giancarlo Sirangelo and became Ellebi Art Gallery in 2010 when it moved to its current location). Today our Gallery has an exhibition area of 250 square meters which is also used as a place to meet, reflect and exchange ideas. Along with the most famous and tradition Italian artists (Castellani, Bonalumi, Rotella, Boetti, Paladino, Dorazio, Turcato, Schifano and many others), the Gallery organizes exhibition projects where artists from different generations interact, such as “I’m on Fire”, a choral project combining an insight into art through the visual languages of famous artists and the research by young and promising artists.
