Gallery Directors

Armanda Gori Arte was born in1998 when Armanda Gori and her husband Aldo Marchi decided to open a gallery to share their growing passion for contemporary art and expand their activity as collectors. In the early years, the Gallery organized frequent Art Café events at their first location in Prato. The artists featured in the exhibitions they organized participated in these Art Café events, as well as critics, collectors and many of their friends who were starting to share their enthusiasm for contemporary art. At that time the gallery organized exhibitions for artists like Giuseppe Chiari and others historically linked to his generation. In 2002 the gallery moved to its current location still in Prato, continuing to feature works by renowned Italian artists, with shows organized at the gallery and other institutional sites. In 2014 the Pietrasanta branch of the gallery opened, holding 4 exhibitions a year concentrated in particular during the summer months.
