Spazio Nuovo, which opened in Rome in 2010, has rapidly become well known among collectors of contemporary art and photography. In a city known for its abundance of antique artistic treasures, Guillaume Maitre and Paulo Pérez Mouriz -the founders of Spazio Nuovo- wish to give contemporary artists a special place where their innovative research is supported. The gallery focuses on emerging and established contemporary artists, paying particular attention to photography. Centrally located near the Pantheon and Piazza Navona, in a neighbourhood of artisans’ ateliers, Spazio Nuovo contributes to Rome’s burgeoning contemporary art scene by presenting solo shows by Daniela Edburg, Aldo Chaparro, Olivier Roller, Edouard Taufenbach and Marco Maria Zanin, both representing our gallery at Arte Fiera 2018.
