Gallery Directors

SPAZIO TESTONI Gallery is directed by Paola Veronesi Testoni since 2006. The current management has been taken 45 years after Giancarlo Franchi inaugurated in 1961 the La 2000 Gallery into this historic space. SPAZIO TESTONI has organized institutional events and exhibitions devoted to historical artists of international renown: Joseph Beuys in 2007 and Fortunato Depero in 2009. For some Archives the Gallery presents works by artists of the '70s and' 80s: Alberto Zilocchi was presented in Arte Fera 2016 and for the 2017 edition in dialogue with Marcello Morandini and also with Paolo Ghilardi in Wopart-Lugano 2017, three Italian artists who were members of the European Neo-Constructivist Movement in the 70s. In collaboration with critics and curators and with other Italian and foreign galleries, the Gallery is looking for new contemporary expressions, including Maria Rebecca Ballestra, Caroline Le Méhauté, Massimiliano e Omar Galliani, Ester Grossi, L'orMa and Mataro da Vergato.
