Gallery Directors

The Fabbrica Eos Gallery was founded in Milano at the start of the ’90s. After an extended experience at a renowned gallery in Milan, Giancarlo Pedrazzini set up a space of his own with the intent of promoting emerging artists, placing his trust in his hunches, the importance of face-to-face encounter, and the conviction that art reaches its state of maturity through complicity and exchange between gallerista and artist. Ignoring dictates of dogma, Fabbrica Eos has conducted its pursuit of new artists along the lines of an idea: “’Art is running 5 minutes fast”: 5 minutes ahead of time. “20 years or 5 minutes” was the title given to a number of shows held in 2013 celebrating the Gallery’s two decades of activity. Also in allusion to the concept above, the shows featured more or less recent works of all the artists discovered over the years, fostering transversal reflections and readings of the evolution of the different approaches pursued thus far. Fabbrica Eos is proud to be the first entry in the long lists of shows of many contemporary artists still hard at work today.
