Pad. 26 Stand B/19
Studio G7 Gallery was founded by Ginevra Grigolo in 1973 through a solo exhibition by Pistoletto. From the '70s, several exhibitions about American and English Pop Art come in succession alternately with an interest for Conceptual Art, photograph, performances, Narrative Art and painting (Warhol, Paolini, Abramovic, Guerzoni, Gastini and others). From 1977 to 1981 considerable efforts together with intense work allow the publication of G7 Studio. During the Eighties and the Nineties the Gallery has given space to foreign international artists as Poirier, Beckley, LeWitt, Girke, Erben, Deyle, Tremlett. Since its origins, Studio G7 has given high priority to the sculpture (Penone, Nagasawa, Habicher, Icaro, Nunzio, Corneli). Recently, the activity continues reinforcing the existing collaborations while introducing new researches (Comani, De Marco, Botta, Candeloro, Sartori, Curti). Last April Studio G7 has celebrated its 44 years of activity through a retrospective at MAMbo (BO).
