The de' Foscherari Gallery was founded in the early 1960s by Pasquale Ribuffo and Franco Bartoli with a cultural program laid out along two separate but closely linked vectors: a close look at critically established tradition, and an interest in experimentation. In 1967, Pop art americana, in '68, Arte Povera, curated by Germano Celant, and in '74, Eros Ghenos Thanatos, curated by Alberto Boatto. Recent major projects have included solo exhibitions by Piacentino, Parmiggiani, Ceroli, Calzolari e Zorio, Luca Vitone, Sophie Ko, Eva Marisaldi, Vedovamazzei.
