Gallery Directors

Menhir Arte Contemporanea began its exhibition activity thirty years ago and represents a reference point for culture and art for the region of La Spezia. In 2014, Menhir Arte Contemoranea witnessed the transition from the historic management of the gallery owner Alberto Rolla to the current one of Sebastiano Calandra. The aim of the gallery is to promote and increase its activity through a greater diversification of exhibition proposals able to respond in a careful way to an audience of collectors. 2016 marks an important year for the gallery: in the month of April, a second space in Milan is opened. After the solo shows by Noël Dolla (November 10, 2016 - January 143, 2017), Hansjörg Glattfelder (June 8 – September 16, 2017) and Gianfranco Zappettini (April 4, 2017 – May 22, 2017), Menhir Arte Contemporanea continues its line of research in the history of European post-World War II art with Winfred Gaul (February 15 - April 15, 2018).
