Gallery Directors

Brand New Gallery’s work aims at promoting the work of emergent and internationally established artists not exhibited before in Italy, for example Rose Wylie (2017), Deborah Kass (2016), Angel Otero (2012), Ori Gersht (2012, 2017) and Folkert de Jong (2011, 2016). The name itself exemplifies its intention to participate actively in the international art scenario with original projects. Since its establishment in 2010, availing itself of the collaboration of important american and european contemporary art galleries, Brand New Gallery has commissioned individual artists to do site-specific projects, like Shinique Smith (2011, 2016), Letha Wilson (2015), and has hosted extensive curated group shows. The variety of gallery spaces offers the opportunity to diversify the cultural proposal, alongside exhibitions of pure research reserved for young artists, Josh Reames (2016), at large exhibitions articulated in the four gallery rooms, Bosco Sodi (2017), Yinka Shonibare MBE (2014).
