Torna in mostra allo Studio d’Arte Raffaelli il gruppo dei Nuovi Futuristi, costituito da Gianantonio Abate, Innocente, Marco Lodola, Plumcake (Cella, Pallotta, Ragni) e Umberto Postal, con un allestimento che ripercorre le estetiche degli anni Ottanta e Novanta attraverso le opere dei cinque artisti. Gioco e leggerezza decretarono il successo internazionale del movimento neofuturista, sviluppatosi a Milano tra il 1983 e il 1984 e rapidamente diffusosi in tutta Europa. Grazie all’immediatezza di lettura e a messaggi fruibili e pienamente aderenti al proprio tempo, gli esponenti del Nuovo Futurismo si fecero profeti in ambito artistico di una temperie culturale che avrebbe investito tutti gli ambiti della creatività, dal design, alla moda, alla musica, alla televisione. Oggi, a distanza di oltre trent’anni dalla prima collettiva del gruppo in galleria, lo Studio Raffaelli propone un revival senza nostalgia, capace invece di mantenere intatto lo stupore nei confronti di una stagione artistica proiettata in avanti, che periodicamente si avverte l’esigenza di ripensare. Gli assemblaggi di Abate, le sculture di Innocente, le installazioni luminose e i disegni di Lodola, le sculture, i teloni in PVC e le opere su carta dei Plumcake, i lightbox, gli arazzi, le tele e le grafiche di Postal compongono un variegato mosaico di stili e linguaggi accomunati da una visione “totale” dell’arte. La mostra sarà visitabile in galleria a partire da giovedì 9 luglio e fino al 30 settembre 2020 nei consueti orari di apertura: da lunedì a venerdì dalle 9:30 alle 13:30 e dalle 15.30 alle 19:30, il sabato dalle 10:00 alle 12:00 e dalle 16:30 alle 18:30.

The group of New Futurists, made up of Gianantonio Abate, Innocente, Marco Lodola, Plumcake (Cella, Pallotta, Ragni) and Umberto Postal, is back on show at Studio d’Arte Raffaelli with a set-up that retraces the aesthetics of the Eighties and Nineties through the works of the five artists. Play and lightness decreed the international success of the neo-Futurist movement, which developed in Milan between 1983 and 1984 and quickly spread throughout Europe. Thanks to its immediacy and usable messages, the exponents of the New Futurism became prophets, in the artistic sphere, of a cultural climate that would invest all areas of creativity, from design, to fashion, to music, to television. Today, more than thirty years after the first group's exhibition in the gallery, Studio Raffaelli offers a revival without nostalgia. Abate's assemblages, Innocente's sculptures, Lodola's light installations and drawings, sculptures, PVC tarps and works on paper by Plumcake, lightboxes, canvases and graphics by Postal compose a varied mosaic of styles and languages ​​united by a "total" vision of art. The exhibition will be open in the gallery starting from Thursday 9 July and until 30 September 2020 in the usual opening hours: from Monday to Friday from 9:30 to 13:30 and from 15:30 to 19:30, on Saturday from 10:00 at 12:00 and from 16:30 to 18:30.
