Preview & Vernissage

The preview of the 42nd edition of Arte Fiera, will take place today, from 12pm to 5pm. The vernissage will follow tonight from 5pm to 9pm.
The 42nd edition of Arte Fiera will be held at Hall 25 and 26 of Bologna’s exhibition centre, designed by Leonardo Benevolo.

Arte Fiera aims to give special focus to the Italian art scene, taking an in-depth look at individual artists as well as exploring more theoretical aspects. It denotes Bologna’s intention to reclaim its title as Italy’s “learned” city, going beyond the globalized art circuit also in terms of the approach to the art market.

Polis/Artworks

Starting from today, visitors will be able to enjoy all the POLIS/ARTWORKS projects around town.

In collaboration with Nicolas Ballario, the Artistic Director Angela Vettese has developed a series of exceptional exhibitions held in several magnificent venues in Bologna's old town centre that provide a backdrop for works by other artists represented by the exhibitor galleries.
