MAAB Gallery è stata fondata a Padova nel 2009 da Michael Biasi. Nel 2013 la galleria ha aperto un nuovo spazio espositivo nel centro di Milano Fin dagli esordi, il lavoro di riscoperta di importanti autori del panorama storico-artistico europeo, attivi dagli anni ’50 e ’60, è stato affiancato dall’interesse per le costanti evoluzioni del linguaggio contemporaneo internazionale. Al fine di praticare una continuità tra passato e presente e intrecciando diversi linguaggi e media espressivi, mostre di maestri del secondo Novecento si sono alternate a quelle di giovani emergenti. Una particolare cura è dedicata agli apparati scientifici; ogni mostra è accompagnata da un catalogo che racconta, per immagini, documenti e attraverso le parole di un critico d’arte, il linguaggio dell'autore. MAAB Gallery gestisce l’Archivio Alberto Biasi.

The MAAB Gallery was founded in Padua in 2009 by Michael Biasi. In 2013 the gallery moved to the center of Milan. From the very start, the work of rediscovering important artists on the European historical-artistic panorama, those active from the 1950s and 1960s, was backed by an interest in the constant evolutions of contemporary international art language. With the aim of showing a continuity between past and present, and of interweaving diverse expressive languages and media, masters of the second half of the twentieth century were alternated with young emergent artists. Particular care is given to technical considerations: each show is backed by a catalogue that tells, through images, documents and the words of an art critic, the art language of the artist. MAAB Gallery administers the Archivio Alberto Biasi.
