ANGAMC Award

ANGAMC Award

The ANGAMC (Associazione Nazionale Gallerie d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea) Award is the only Italian award that honours the role and career of a gallerist who has distinguished him/herself for outstanding personal and professional qualities.

With the physical return of Arte Fiera Bologna, the Associazione Nazionale Gallerie d’Arte Moderna e Contemporanea, chaired by Mauro Stefanini, will assign the ANGAMC 2021 Award (suspended due to the health emergency) to one of its affiliates.

Instituted in 2017, the ANGAMC Award is assigned annually by the Board of Directors after thorough discussion of the various proposals presented by its members.

The award has been presented to honour the career of gallerists Carla Pellegrini (Galleria Milano, Milan), Giorgio Marconi (Studio Marconi / Galleria Gió Marconi, Milan), Pasquale Ribuffo (Galleria De’ Foscherari, Bologna), and Roberto Casamonti (Tornabuoni Arte, Florence, Milan, Paris, Crans Montana, Forte dei Marmi), with fond remembrance of Ginevra Grigolo (Galleria Studio G7, Bologna).

ANGAMC was founded in 1964 as Sindacato Nazionale Mercanti d’Arte Moderna and assumed its current name in 2001. Its principal objective is to promote the art market, including with legal and administrative actions, as well as to represent and defend the sector’s moral, economic, and cultural interests. It is organised in local delegations and, internationally, is a member of FEAGA – Federation of European Art Galleries Association. For more information: www.angamc.com
