Gianfranco Composti, heir to the Toselli Gallery & Co., founded in 1997 Ca’ di Fra’, a Contemporary Art Gallery and archive, that is part of the of the Regional Libraries Found. The collection gathers a variety of artworks belonging to the Transavanguardia, Arte Povera, Conceptual, Gruppo T, Cenobio, Gruppo Zero. The gallery has already promoted personal exhibitions of: Sugimoto, Morimura, Araki, Camara, Witkin, Giacomelli, Saudek, Ghirri, Mattioli, Migliori, Fontana, Lucas, Korda, Orsi, Ponti, Parisi, Pazienza, Civitelli, Bedini, Nigro, Ontani, Serafini, La Pietra, Varisco, Vigo, Ferrari, Vermi. Witkin. The Gallery attends national exhibitions and it seeks dialogue with Italian insitutions: In 2008 Migliori at the Formentini Church and, in the same year Saudek and Witkin at PAC in Milan. In 2016, at Brera Accademy a “lectio magistralis” by Vigo and a Varisco’s exhibition held at the Contemporary Art Museum of Lissone. The collection lended some artworks to the Boetti exhibition at GAMEC in Bergamo, to the Reina Sofia Museum in Madrid, to the Tate Gallery in London, to the MOMA in New York and in 2017 to Brera Accademy for Boetti- Dossier Postale 1969-1970 exhibition.
