Gallery Directors

The story of the Granelli Gallery began in 1970 when husband and wife Antonio Ricci and Graziella Granelli started working in the art field. In 1992 the gallery was officially opened. It took on a Pop Art style right from the beginning; over the course of the years retrospectives by Valerio Adami, Renato Mambor, Mario Schifano, Tano Testa, Pino Pascali followed. In 2004, Silvia Ricci, having worked with her parents for years, took on the direction of the gallery. Along with Italian Pop Art, the artistic trends followed by the gallery are currently Arte Povera, Kinetic Art, Fluxus and Visual Poetry. Since 2014 the Granelli Gallery has been located in Via Marconi 1d in Castiglioncello, near Livorno. The recent exhibitions dedicated to Italian Pop Art “Angeli Festa Schifano 1960s and 1970s” (2014), personal shows dedicated to Pino Pascali (2011; 2015), the retrospective dedicated to Bruno Munari (2014) and shows dedicated to Kinetic art (2016) have been very important milestones.
