Gallery Directors

The Galleria Allegra Ravizza opened in Milan in 2007, in 2013 it moved to Lugano and in March 2017 will open a new venue in Honolulu. The gallery is mainly focused on the avant-gardes of the 1960s and 1970s. The most significant projects it has undertaken include: “Sui confini della luce”, a solo show by Alberto Biasi in which, for the first time in Switzerland, were presented the three most significant environmental works of his career; the first ZERO show in Russia; the gallery’s synergy with the Nanda Vigo Archive, which led to its participation in the ZERO shows at the New York Guggenheim Museum, the Martin-Gropius-Bau in Berlin, and the Stedelijk Museum in Amsterdam. Recently it organised the realisation of Nanda Vigo’s first outdoors work, “Exoteric Gate”, at the Statale University in Milan. The gallery represents Alberto Biasi, Davide Boriani, Bruno Contenotte, Shay Frisch, Tomás Maoldonado, Christian Megert, Albert Pinya, The Bounty Killart, Nanda Vigo, Günter Weseler.
