Gallery Directors

The gallery, under the direction of Ivano and Federico Bonioni, held its first exhibition in 2003. Featured artists were Mattia Moreni, Giuseppe Banchieri, Omar Galliani and Federico Lombardo. Galleria Bonioni Arte regularly curates exhibitions dedicated to acknowledged Italian artists (Afro, Giuseppe Capogrossi, Roberto Crippa, Lucio Fontana, Emilio Vedova), international artists (Sam Francis, Hans Hartung, Georges Mathieu) and emerging and mid-career artists. The most important exhibitions include the solo shows of Bernard Aubertin and Mattia Moreni, in addition to the exhibitions of works by Pablo Atchugarry, Nicola Carrino, Umberto Cavenago, Paolo Cotani, Hermann Nitsch, Mimmo Rotella and Mario Schifano. In 2013 the gallery celebrated its tenth anniversary with a solo show of Omar Galliani. The gallery participates in major contemporary art fairs. All solo exhibitions are documented by catalogues, publications and press reviews.
