Gallery Directors

L’Ariete artecontemporanea of Bologna, founded and directed since 1983 by Patrizia Raimondi, has always dedicated its exhibition projects to the dialogue between protagonists and emerging artists of the contemporary art scene. Over the past thirty years, the gallery has presented shows of German artists from the historical avant-garde to the present day, the project "South Africa Trilogy" and thematic exhibitions with works by recognized artists as J. Brown, C. Joffe, B. Moon, L. Ontani, A. Mondino, M. Paladino, O. Galliani, M. Bottarelli, in dialogue through conceptual and stylistic connections with authors of recent generations, appreciated for technical and poetic qualities, as N. Samorì, E. Frani, Lemeh42. A permanent feature of the gallery is t the scouting and promotion of young talents, of whom it curates public and private projects, production of videos and site-specific works. In the gallery space, over the years, numerous meetings of poetry and contemporary criticism and events related to institutional collaborations have taken place.
