Gallery Directors

The activity of Mimmo Scognamiglio began in 1995 with the Scognamiglio and Teano Gallery. The human experience and the visual practice acquired working with Lucio Amelio for more than 10 years allowed Mimmo Scognamiglio to outline a personal exhibition way. He has become an important reference for national and international, young or well-established artists. In 2000 he became Mimmo Scognamiglio artecontemporanea and dedicated himself both to the organization of exhibitions in institutional spaces and to seminars and meetings on art. In 2007 he opened the gallery in Milan with the soloshow of Antony Gormley, an internationally renowned artist. In 2011 he moved to Via Ventura 6 where he created a new art center in Milan with other galleries. In 2015 he is back to Brera in Via Goito 7, inaugurating with the exhibition of the twenty years of activity of the gallery. At ArteFiera he presents Jenni Hiltunen soloshow, a young Finnish artist who has already exhibited twice in the gallery.
