Gallery Directors

Founded in 1993, the Primo Marella gallery has been committed to the promotion and documentation of emerging artists and movements coming from different territories outside Europe, both through the organization of shows and the publication of books and catalogues, with the help and collaboration of local curators and critics. Starting with China in the late Nineties, the focus of the gallery’s program has touched different emerging areas, from Russia to India and from South East Asia to Africa, always with the precise goal to pioneer in the presentation of such complex and constantly evolving artistic scenes and to gain the attention of museums, institutions and collectors for these emerging artists. Recently the Primo Marella gallery has undertaken a new path through the emerging Italian movement Pittura Analitica, which has gained great attention in the last few years.The Primo Marella gallery aims to give it international attention by emancipating them from the local Italian reality.
