Gallery Directors

Founded by Giovanni Granzotto in 1978, Studio d’Arte GR focused its activity on the postwar avante-garde of Latin matrix, favoring those artists who had created a special propulsion and thrust during the “Informale”. In the 1990s, the gallery began dedicating great energy and insight to the rediscovery and relaunching of the movements of Kinetic and Optical art. Today, the gallery alternates its activity between the discovery and promotion of young talents who work with very different media. In addition to its business activity, it has always engaged cultural endeavors, organizing exhibitions in prestigious museums such as GNAM in Rome, the Hermitage in St. Petersburg, MMOMA in Moscow, MACBA and Museo di Bellas Artes in Buenos Aires, and Palazzo Ducale in Venice. Studio d’Arte G.R. curated almost 300 public exhibitions. With this premise, New York G.R. Gallery has recently been opened, a structure completely centered on the culture and market of the United States.
