XXS Aperto al Contemporaneo was born in 2011, under the careful eye of Giuseppe Borgia who conceived this incubator of cultures and contemporary languages. At first he paid attention to young independent research, and, lately, targeting the wider international scene, creating interesting collaborations. The first edition of the project "Camera doppia” in 2015, and "U’ marimotu" subsequently, paved the way for a young Sicilian talents lookout offering them opportunities to be displayed for the first time. Jalal Sepehr’s exhibition has projected the gallery work towards international horizons, aspect that will characterize the 2017 programme, waiting for "Manifesta 12". Artists presented in the gallery include: Aqua Aura, Luigi Citarrella, Alberto Criscione, Joanpere Massana, Nicolò Quirico, Roberto Rinella, Matías Sánchez and Simone Stuto.
