Gallery Directors

Mimmo Scognamiglio opened his gallery in Naples in December 1995. The human and visual experience acquired working with Lucio Amelio allowed him to define his own space and exhibition area. The gallery has become an important reference for international artists with well-established esthetic experience and for many young artists. The gallery also collaborates with important curators and organizes exhibitions in public institutions. In 2007 he opened the doors of his new exhibition space in Porta Nuova in Milan with a solo show by Antony Gormley. In 2011 it relocates to Lambrate where, together with others galleries, it created a new art district in Milan. In 2015 the gallery moved back to the center of Milan in Brera; the new space opened with the exhibition "20 Years and..." dedicated to its twenty years of activity, with some of the artists exhibited such as Gormley, Martin, Shiota, Ambrosio, Paladino, Plensa and others. At Arte Fiera 2017 it is presenting works by Martin, Hiltunen, Lozek, Kaufmann, Paladino, Shiota, Pizzi Cannella, Tirelli e Mendoza.
