Umberto Di Marino Gallery was established in 1995 in Giugliano in Campania, near Naples. In 2005, a new venue was added in the center of Naples. In September 2022, "Casa Di Marino" was introduced as a new dimension, reflecting the gallerist's personal vision and harking back to the gallery's early years. From its inception, the gallery has focused on the coexistence of artistic expression within challenging urban peripheries, such as the context of Naples. The initial aim was to create a space that could engage and interest, initially among the gallery's close contacts and gradually expand to the broader community. Over time, the Umberto Di Marino gallery has deepened its commitment to research, focusing on the intricate relationships between architecture, nature, anthropology, and alternative lifestyles. Consideration of the local context and support from local institutions have facilitated off-site exhibitions in historic Naples locations.
