Giovanni Bonelli

Giovanni Bonelli Gallery opened in 2012 in Isola district in Milano.The planning of the 300 sqmt open space is initially focused on Italian figurative painters (e.g Fulvio Di Piazza, Giuseppe Gonella). In a very short time the gallery becomes a referring-point for art lovers and artists in the city. During the last years important solo shows by most renowned artists will interchange: Maurizio Mochetti (2016), Gianni Pettena (2017), Mario Schifano and Giulio Turcato (2018); Maurizio Cannavacciuolo (2019); Francesco Lauretta (2019); Massimo Kaufmann (2021). In the last two years the gallery opened to a younger generation of artists (under 30) like Chiara Calore (2021), the duo bn+BRINANOVARA (2023) and Gherardo Quadrio Curzio (born 2000) who will have his first solo show in our Pietrasanta venue in the new year. The 2024 season will open with the second solo show in Milano by Francesco Lauretta (January).
