Fuoricampo was opened in 2011 by Esther Biancotti (art historian) and Jacopo Figura (philosopher). The gallery's activity is aimed at promoting artists of our generation whose work is characterised by a solid conceptual matrix: mainly monographic exhibitions and site-specific operations, but also group exhibitions that reconstruct philological or genealogical paths consistent with a commitment to our time. From the outset, the gallery has pursued its nomadic attitude by curating projects even outside the usual exhibition spaces. In 2019, the gallery temporarily interrupted its activity. The gallery reopens in its new location in April 2022.
