Galleria Giampaolo Abbondio, formerly Galleria PACK, was founded in 2001 in Milan and developed there until 2021, when Giampaolo Abbondio moved its exhibition venue to Todi, in the heart of Umbria. The gallery has always been proposing a programm that covers a wide range of artistic languages and contaminations between different media, focusing on the production of emerging and more established artists, both Italian and international. In September 2019, after nineteen years of activity, the gallery adopted its current name of Galleria Giampaolo Abbondio. In 2022, Giampaolo Abbondio also founded the Suddenthoughts publishing project, which promotes the republication of rare, out-if-catalogue and unpublished texts.
