Ca’ di Fra’ is the heir of the historical art gallery Toselli & Co. In 1997 Composti set up a countainer for his contemporary art collection and a paper archive specialized in art catalogues and photography from the 60s to today.The archive is part of Fondo delle Biblioteche Regionali Lombarde.The art collection includes a lot of works of Transavanguardia’s artists, Arte Povera e Conceptual Art, Gruppo T, Gruppo Zero, Gruppo del Cenobio and works of national and international photographers.In Milan, the Gallery has signed many solo shows of H. Sugimoto, Y. Morimura, N. Araki, S. Camara, J.P. Witkin, M. Giacomelli, Jan Saudek, Luigi Ghirri, N. Migliori, F.Fontana, U.Lucas, A. Korda, C. Orsi, Gio Ponti, Ico Parisi, A. Pazienza, F. Civitelli, M.Manara,Carla Bedini, C.Costa, M. Nigro, L. Ontani, L.Serafini, U.La Pietra, G.Varisco, N.Vigo, A. Ferrari, A.Vermi. The gallery participates in the most important national fairs and continues a dialoguing proposal with the Museum Institutions.
