Tornabuoni Arte was founded in Florence in 1981 in Via Tornabuoni on the initiative of Roberto Casamonti and his strong passion for art. After moving to Lungarno Cellini, Tornabuoni Arte opened new Italian locations ( Milan, Forte dei Marmi ) and three more in Europe ( Crans Montana, Paris, London ). Each year Tornabuoni Arte organizes an annual exhibition with the aim of presenting a selection of great international artists of the XX century together with the main artists of Italian art history. At the same time, the gallery carries on a program of shows to focus attention on important XX-century masters, such as the exhibitions dedicated to Arman, Arnaldo Pomodoro, Piero Dorazio, Renato Mambor, Alberto Biasi, Fabrizio Plessi. Tornabuoni Arte takes part in the most important fairs of contemporary art: Arte Fiera, MiArt, Tefaf Maastricht and New York Spring, Art Basel ( Basel - Hong Kong - Miami Beach - Paris - Doha).
