Goldschmied & Chiari (Sara Goldschmied, Arzignano 1975 – Eleonora Chiari, Rome 1971) have always expressed a polysemic poetics enunciated through different semantic structures to create immediate and surprising connections. Following the recent show Eclisse (Eclipse) at the Museo Novecento in Florence at the beginning of 2019, and the first part of the project in the two locations of the Galleria Poggiali in Pietrasanta last summer, the research of Goldschmied & Chiari into the concept of Paesaggi Artificiali // Artificial Landscapes moved to Milan for a new session. Ulterior exploration of this work on reflecting surfaces of large dimensions, on which photos of coloured smoke bombs are impressed using a secret, almost alchemical, technique, are now to be presented at the Bologna Fair 2020 in a section devoted to photography which will host specifically produced works.
