La mostra attualmente esposta in galleria è una collettiva di cinque artisti con cui abbiamo lavorato lo scorso anno e di cui abbiamo esposto mostre personali, o che erano inseriti nella programmazione espositiva del 2020: si tratta del cinese Liu Bolin (1973), del brasiliano Vik Muniz (1961) e di Macoto Murayama (1985), tutti rappresentati da opere fotografiche. L’ultimo dei tre, un giovane artista giapponese, è stato presentato per la prima volta in Italia ad ArteFiera Bologna 2020. Per quanto riguarda la pittura, si consolida con questa collettiva il rapporto di lungo corso con Hermann Nitsch (1938) e Marco Cingolani (1961). Di Nitsch Boxart ha organizzato la personale a Palazzo Ducale di Mantova nell’estate 2019, a cura di Peter Assmann, direttore del Palazzo, e di Beatrice Benedetti. Infine, abbiamo inserito alcune opere di Daniel Spoerri (1930) per celebrare i 90 anni dell’artista, in attesa di potergli dedicare un omaggio in piena regola. Come opera di primaria importanza per la gallery on line di Arte Fiera, Boxart propone un pezzo museale di Vik Muniz esposto all’Art Museum of Art di Atlanta e al Mart di Rovereto.

The exhibition currently on display at the gallery is a collective exhibition of five artists with whom we worked last year and of whom we showed personal exhibitions, or who were included in the exhibition programme of 2020. Among the artworks on display there are the photographs of the Chinese artist Liu Bolin (b. 1973), of the famous Brazilian artist Vik Muniz (1961) and of Macoto Murayama (b. 1985). The works of the latter, a 35-year-old Japanese artist, were exhibited for the first time in Italy at ArteFiera Bologna 2020. As for painting, the long-lasting relationship with Hermann Nitsch (1938) and Marco Cingolani (b. 1961) is consolidated with this collective. Of Nitsch, Boxart organized a solo show at Palazzo Ducale in Mantua in summer 2019, curated by the Director of the palazzo, Peter Assmann, and Beatrice Benedetti. We included some works of Daniel Spoerri in the group show on the occasion of his 90th birthady, looking forward to the first opportunity to properly celebrate this master. As a work of primary importance for the Arte Fiera online gallery, Boxart offers a museum piece by Vik Muniz exhibited at the Art Museum of Art in Atlanta and at the Mart in Rovereto.
