Francesca Minini
Nata nel 2006, la galleria Francesca Minini sta portando avanti una ricerca su artisti italiani e internazionali middle career. Negli ultimi anni a questa ricerca si sta affiancando un interesse nei confronti dei grandi maestri dell'arte italiana e internazionale. L'interesse nei confronti dello spazio, dell'architettura e dell'ambiente ha rappresentato il progetto site-specific di due artisti di generazione diversa, Jan De Cock e Daniel Buren, e un progetto sulla facciata della galleria di Francesco Simeti. Da quel momento Francesca Minini, mentre lavora a nuovi progetti con gli artisti della galleria, guarda anche alla scena artistica proveniente dall'Oriente con Ghada Amer e Ali Kazma, e dal Sud America, a partire da due collettive (nel 2013 e nel 2014 ) che ha indagato gli artisti emergenti di questa zona. Nel 2016 Fancesca Minini ha festeggiato il suo decimo anniversario e ha mostrato un programma rinnovato con artisti come Landon Metz, Runo Lagomarsino, Armando Andrade Tudela, Elena Damiani e Riccardo Beretta. Nell'autunno 2018 la galleria ha presentato nuove collaborazioni: a settembre un doppio progetto nella nostra galleria di Milano e alla Galleria Massimo Minini di Brescia con opere sia storiche che più recenti di Carla Accardi. Nella stessa area di ricerca sono state presentate nei mesi successivi due mostre personali di Robert Barry e Dan Graham. Infine, a partire dallo stesso anno, nascono due nuove collaborazioni con il fotografo Jacopo Benassi e l'artista americana Mika Tajima. Il rapporto tra artisti affermati e la ricerca va avanti anno dopo anno. Questa ricerca ha portato la galleria a rappresentare alla fine del 2019 l'artista brasiliano Daniel de Paula mentre il 2020 si è aperto con la mostra personale di Yona Friedman.
The gallery is developing since 2006 a research on italian and international artists of a young generation. The research towards architecture, space and environment is well represented since the beginning with site-specific project by two artists of a different generation (Jan De Cock and Daniel Buren) and a project on the facade of the gallery by Francesco Simeti. From that moment Francesca Minini, while working on new projects with the artists of the gallery, is also looking at the artistic scene coming from East with Ghada Amer and Ali Kazma, and from South America, starting from two group shows (in 2013 and 2014) that investigated the emerging artists of this area. In 2016 Fancesca Minini celebrated her 10th anniversary and showed a renovated program with artist such as Landon Metz, Runo Lagomarsino, Armando Andrade Tudela, Elena Damiani and Riccardo Beretta. In fall 2018, the gallery presented new collaborations: in September a double project in our gallery in Milan and at Galleria Massimo Minini in Brescia with both historical and more recent works by Carla Accardi. In the same research area, two personal exhibitions by Robert Barry and Dan Graham were presented in the following months. Finally, starting from the same year, two new collaborations were born with the photographer Jacopo Benassi and the American artist Mika Tajima. The releationship between established artists and the research goes on year by year. At the end of 2019 this research led the gallery to start representing Brazilian artist Daniel de Paula while 2020 is going to open with the solo show by Yona Friedman.
