Studio d’Arte Raffaelli opened in 1984, mainly focusing on painting. In the last years also worked with contemporary sculpture, photography and video. The gallery directly collaborates with its artists, working on an international base and promoting Italian and territorial artists as well. The exhibition program of the gallery focuses on the American artists of the Eighties, like Donald Baechler, Philip Taaffe, Peter Schuyff, and James Brown; moreover, Giordano Raffaelli has been the first galleries to work with South African artists, since 1991, when He organized in the gallery the solo show by Chéri Samba.
