La Galleria Poggiali intensifica da sempre la realizzazione di progetti rivolti ad una stretta ricerca sul contemporaneo storicizzato e allo stesso tempo rivolto a generazioni emergenti, che abbiano dimostrato, in entrambi i casi, di incidere nel panorama internazionale. A tale proposito ha realizzato ultimamente le mostre personali di artisti come Claudio Parmiggiani, che si aggiunge ad Enzo Cucchi, Gilberto Zorio ed Eliseo Mattiacci, che già collaborano da anni con la galleria. Segue da anni i protagonisti del ritorno alla pittura come Luca Pignatelli, Giovanni Frangi, Piero Pizzi Cannella e Manfredi Beninati. La mission della galleria consiste, inoltre, nell’indagine di linguaggi internazionali della più stretta attualità interpretati da Olaf Breuning, Slater Bradley, John Isaacs e Youssef Nabil, A tale riguardo ha di recente stretto un sodalizio con la giovane artista statunitense Kennedy Yanko, poco più che trentenne. Alle sedi di Firenze e Milano ha aggiunto le due di Pietrasanta, grazie alle quali ha intensificato l’indagine della scultura attraverso figure come quella di Fabio Viale. Le mostre della galleria sono sempre realizzate in stretta collaborazione con gli artisti e prevedono la realizzazione di pubblicazioni dedicate, spesso in collaborazione con le maggiori case editrici, dando vita in ogni circostanza a progetti unici ed appositi.
The Galleria Poggiali is constantly stepping up its production of projects aimed at rigorous research into the historicised contemporary while also targeting the up-and-coming generations. In both cases, these are artists that have demonstrated their influence on the international scene. This is the perspective in which the gallery has recently produced solo shows for artists such as Claudio Parmiggiani, going to join Enzo Cucchi, Gilberto Zorio and Eliseo Mattiacci with whom it has already been collaborating for years. For years the gallery has also been following the protagonists of the return to painting, such as Luca Pignatelli, Giovanni Frangi, Piero Pizzi Cannella and Manfredi Beninati The gallery’s mission also comprises a commitment to exploring the international languages of the most stringent topicality interpreted by Olaf Breuning, Slater Bradley, John Isaacs and Youssef Nabil. Apropos this aspect, the gallery has recently entered into a collaboration with the young North American artist Kennedy Yanko, just over thirty. The Florence and Milan premises have been joined by the two in Pietrasanta, where it has been possible to intensify the exploration of sculpture through figures such as Fabio Viale. The gallery’s exhibitions have always been organised in close collaboration with the artists and include the production of specific publications – frequently in liaison with leading publishers – giving rise to unique and specific projects every time.
