Michele D'Aurizio is a curator, critic, and doctoral candidate in art history at the University of California, Berkeley. His studies explore the history of modern and contemporary art in Italy and abroad, the history of architecture, industrial design and handicrafts, the theoretical traditions of Marxism and of the philosophy of technology. He studied at Politecnico di Milano and at Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan. He was editor of Flash Art (2014–18) and co-curator of the 16th Quadriennale d’Arte (2016). He is the founder of the Gasconade art space in Milan. In 2023, he curated the “sub-“ show at Museo d’Arte Contemporanea (MACTE) in Termoli.
