ARTE FIERA ROAD SHOW IN MAJOR ITALIAN CITIES MORE THAN 200 ART GALLERY OWNERS AND COLLECTORS TO ATTEND

23/09/2014

The curtain goes up on Arte Fiera 2015 with a series of preview events. The programme will embrace a wide public, including Italy’s most prestigious art galleries and renowned collectors, and continue this premier tradeshow’s long-standing partnership with some of Italy's most outstanding museums.

Arte Fiera’s upcoming tour of major Italian cities in the run-up to the 39th edition - to be held at the Bologna Trade Fair from 23 – 26 January 2015 - entails three events to be attended by more than 200 art gallery owners and collectors. The introductory events will begin this evening with a dinner at Rome’s Maxxi (National Museum of the 21st Century Arts), followed on 24 September by an evening at Turin's Cambio restaurant, and conclude on 29 September in Naples at the Donnaregina Contemporary Art Museum.

Italy’s leading contemporary art show, Arte Fiera, featuring a range of both well established and emerging art galleries, is a save-the-date venue not only for sector specialists and large or small collectors but also for the general art-loving public.
Networking effectively with the most prestigious Italian art institutions and other key sector-players, Arte Fiera has extended its reach beyond painting to include sections ranging from photography to drawing, and less well-known geographic and artistic realities. Last year, for example, saw a section dedicated to East European art galleries, staged at the trade fairgrounds and Bologna's central Archaeological Museum, which hosted the exhibition ‘The Empty Pedestal. Ghosts from Eastern Europe’. This year Arte Fiera’s special focus will also extend to Middle Eastern and neighbouring countries.
