Gallery Directors

The Eduardo Secci gallery, founded in Florence in 2012, has always focused on both young and mid-career artists, with the main intent to present outstanding artists of the international art world to the Italian public and, at the same time, to promote Italian art in a globalized context. Since 2016, besides having opened a brand new exhibition space in Piazza Goldoni, the gallery has turned its attention to artists who look at an international context and showcase a strong vocation towards experimentation and to projects that include installations, research on space and on the relationships that the artwork is capable of establishing with the individual. Moreover, the gallery’s program is structured according to the research carried out by artists that have a strong identity, a social or political connotation of the contemporary, besides an aesthetic one, encompassing multiple definitions of the languages with which they formally return their own needs.
