The gallery was founded in Mestre in 1964 by Cesare Misserotti. In 1966 it moved to Venice, Campo san Provolo and began with an exhibition by Tancredi, who was just died. The young Cesare Misserotti wanted to project the gallery on the international scene. So, after an one man show “Paolo Gioli”, the gallery emerged on the art and culture scene: in collaboration with Ileana Sonnabend and Leo Castelli, more than 60 works by Warhol, Lichtenstein, Dine, Oldenburg, Rosenquist were showed in the extraordinary exhibition “American Supermarket”. In 1964 Cesare Misserotti met Raymond Hains, with whom be began a collaboration whose result was the exhibition: “La Biennale Eclatée”. For the first time: Pavlos, Dietman, Franco Vaccari, Gilli and an important exhibition of the young British picture. From 1995 the gallery moved to Treviso. Since then, among the others: Mario Ceroli, Michelangelo Pistoletto, “Body Art”, “Nouveau Réalisme”, Urs Lüthi, Mainolfi, Gastone Novelli, Maria Lai, Gina Pane, Nanni Valentini, Bruno Munari, James Lee Byars, Raymond Hains.
