Massimo Minini opened his gallery in Brescia in 1973. During his early years of activity, he was involved with Conceptual, Povera and Minimal Art, presenting exhibitions by foreign artists as Daniel Buren, Andre Cadere, Niele Toroni, Dan Graham, Ian Wilson, and Italian artists as Salvo, Alighiero Boetti, Giulio Paolini, Alberto Garutti, Paolo Icaro and Luigi Ontani. In the late 70s and early 80s he continued along these fields with Robert Barry, Luciano Fabro, Sol LeWitt, Bertrand Lavier. Beside these movements, the gallery also collaborated with more figurative artists as Carla Accardi and Stefano Arienti. In the 90s Minini presented exhibitions by Philippe Thomas, Jan Fabre, Anish Kapoor, Peter Halley. In more recent years, while carrying on the collaboration with established artists, the gallery has given space to younger artists whose careers were on the rise: Ariel Schlesinger, Landon Metz, Wilfredo Prieto and Haris Epaminonda, between others.
