Gallery Directors

Spazio Testoni Gallery is directed by Paola Veronesi Testoni since 2006. The current management has been taken 45 years after Giancarlo Franchi inaugurated in 1961 into these historic spaces the La 2000 Gallery. Spazio Testoni has organized institutional events and exhibitions devoted to historical artists of international renown: Joseph Beuys (2007) and Fortunato Depero (2009). In collaboration with critics and curators and with other Italian and foreign galleries, it investigates youth expressiveness on cultural, social, economic and environment contemporary themes, including Maria Rebecca Ballestra, Andrea Francolino, Caroline Le Méhauté, Ester Grossi, L’orMa. He presents works by Italian artists of the 70s and 80s in collaboration with their archives. Alberto Zilocchi, 25 years after his death, was presented in Arte Fiera 2016, and for the 2017 edition he is in dialogue with Marcello Morandini, who together were among the co-founders of the European Movement Neo Constructivist in the 70s.
