Heir of Toselli Gallery & Co, in 1997 G.Composti created Ca’ di Fra’, a place of contemporary art and an archive of art catalogues and photography from the 60s till the present day. The archive is part of the Fondo Speciale Biblioteche Regionali. The collection includes Transavanguardia, Arte Povera and conceptual works. In the location of Via Farini 2, in Milan, the gallery hosted the solo exhibitions of H.Sugimoto, Y.Morimura, N.Araki, Seni Camara, J.P.Witkin, M.Giacomelli, J.Saudek, L.Ghirri, N.Migliori, F.Fontana, U.Lucas, A.Korda, Salvo, L.Ontani, G.Varisco, N.Vigo, U.La Pietra, A.Ferrari, E.Sordini, A.Verga, A.Vermi. The gallery takes part in national and international fairs and works with organizations. In 2007 the J.P. Witkin's solo show continues with a “lectio magistralis” in Brera, as for F.Fontana and N.Migliori exhibitions. In 2008, J.P.Witkin was presented at PAC. The Gallery promotes Gruppo Cenobio and Gruppo T works, postwar movements from Milan.
